Free tennis lesson Sunday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM | starting Sunday, September 10th

HLTC Nieuw Marlot has agreed with Tennisschool Nieuw Marlot to provide free tennis lessons for its members. We would like to invite you to join our complimentary lesson. This will take place 14 times leading up to the Christmas break and will be held on Sundays from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Afterwards, there will be plenty of opportunity to continue playing together. This training will focus on playing points and various match situations (both singles and doubles).

You can register by sending an email to tennischool@nieuwmarlot.nl, and we will add you to the list. If weather permits, we will play outdoors, but the indoor court is also reserved for this lesson, so we will always play.

Plan a walk-in morning at New Marlot Tennis Park | Sunday 2 October from 09:30 to 12:00

The tennis park Nieuw Marlot has been in financial distress for years. The complex is home to the oldest and monumental tennis hall in the Netherlands, which needs to be restored. Owner Ralph van Ginkel & associates would like to tackle this, as well as restore the centuries-old fruit walls. The objective is to give the tennis park a healthy and sustainable future and to make it a vital and healthy park. A beautiful place and environment where young and old can meet and exercise in a beautiful ambiance.

These plans will be presented on Sunday morning, October 2, from 09:30 to 12:00 during the walk-in morning.

“Many of you have probably already heard about the plans we have for the tennis park. We hope that many of you like the fact that we are going to invest in a sustainable future for the park. We are happy to engage in conversation to explain and personally explain our plans. In doing so, it is important that everyone receives the right information. We would be happy to show you the entire plan, the individual components and an overview over time of the steps we need to take. This will make it clear what the plan can do for you. There will be several information panels with people there who you can interact with. There is no general presentation, but we are opting for a somewhat longer walk-in morning so that there is plenty of time and space to listen and have the conversation. There will also be a place for people to leave comments and/or suggestions. In small groups we will go through the plans that will take about 20 to 30 minutes,” said owner Ralph van Ginkel.

After this walk-in morning, the plans will be posted at www.nieuwmarlot.nl.

Location: Tennispark Nieuw Marlot, Leidsestraatweg 75, 2594 BB The Hague.
