About
Nieuw Marlot

Nieuw Marlot is where history and modern comfort come together. Hidden in the lush greenery of The Hague, our sports park is home to the oldest sports hall in the Netherlands, now a proud national monument.

After a five-year renovation journey, we've transformed this historic site into a vibrant space where you can enjoy a variety of sports in a setting that’s both charming and practical. Whether you’re here for sports or relaxation, Nieuw Marlot offers a unique blend of heritage and modern facilities.

Energy Neutral

At Nieuw Marlot, sustainability is at our core. We’re proud to be completely energy neutral, powered by 180 solar panels and wind turbines. We’ve cut out gas entirely, embracing renewable energy to keep our facilities running.

But we didn’t stop there—we also use collected rainwater to keep our plants thriving, ensuring that our beautiful surroundings are as eco-friendly as possible. Our commitment to the environment makes Nieuw Marlot a place where you can feel good about enjoying nature and sports, all while being kind to the planet.

How to Reach Our Park

When using Google Maps, we recommend entering Marlotlaan as your destination instead of Leidsestraatweg 75. Follow the road through the scenic, tree-lined area until you see the red brick walls—that's where our park is located.

You can park your car inside these walls, but please avoid parking in front of the white building.

Our address is Leidsestraatweg 75, 2594BB, and we can't wait to welcome you!
